I'd suggest taking a look at the floating market, however be advised that many will try to take advantage of you if you let them. I had purchased what I though was Cuaraco Rum and when I got home I was upset to find out it wasn't really rum at all but some sticky substance. ICK! The quality of some of the veggies is good, but some are not at all ripe or have pests. It's fun to look around, but be shopping with your eyes wide open and don't forget to barter!

The store is a buy in bulk type of store. In America I would say similar to a Sam's club or CostCo. There isn't nearly the selection you'd have at an American store, but they offer a large variety of items. I'd suggest shopping here for fresh beef and fish. They also have office items such as printers, paper, desks and storage.
