Floating Market
Venezuelan merchants selling their fresh produce from small fishing boats. During the days they spend on our island between their trips to and from Venezuela, their authentic fishing boats double as living quarters. Nearby on the plaza Jo Jo Correa there is often a small artisans' market featuring local crafts.

I'd suggest taking a look at the floating market, however be advised that many will try to take advantage of you if you let them. I had purchased what I though was Cuaraco Rum and when I got home I was upset to find out it wasn't really rum at all but some sticky substance. ICK! The quality of some of the veggies is good, but some are not at all ripe or have pests. It's fun to look around, but be shopping with your eyes wide open and don't forget to barter!
